Fundraising
The Middle Park State School P&C Committee is committed to constantly upgrading the resources and facilities available to our students.
Throughout the year, the Fundraising Committee conducts a number of different fundraising activities, including chocolate/donut drives, trivia nights, spellathons, walkathons etc. The proceeds of these fundraisers enable the P&C to assist the school by providing funds for upgrading resources such as computers, musical instruments, sporting equipment, to name but a few.
The funds raised from these activities, as well as our bi-annual fête, also enable us to undertake larger projects, such as the recently upgraded Lower Undercover Area, as well as our next major project – air conditioning.
The Fundraising Committee also conducts numerous social activities throughout the year, where the focus is not on raising money, but allowing the school community to come together in a social environment. Examples of these events include school discos, which are held twice a year (usually June and October), outdoor movie nights, as well as our annual Christmas concert.

Current Fundraisers
Woolworths Earn & Learn Program
If you (or your family or friends) shop at Woolworths, we are collecting Earn & Learn points, which we will be able to redeem for classroom resources for our school. Please drop the bottom part of your receipts (with the Earn & Learn code) into the specially marked box in the office foyer. Our target is 10,000 points by the closing date of 18th September!
Coles Sports for Schools
We are also collecting Coles Sports for Schools vouchers. Again, please send all your vouchers into the office, where there is a specially marked collection box. Don’t forget to ask family and friends for their vouchers if they don’t have their own school to support! We are looking forward to receiving more fantastic new sporting equipment from Coles again this year. The more vouchers we collect, the more equipment we will receive!
Paul’s Collect-A-Cap
Please also send in any specially marked Paul’s milk caps (washed please!). Paul’s are donating 10c to our school for every cap collected.
Ink Cartridge Recycling
Don’t forget to send your used ink cartridges to school for recycling. The P&C is participating in the ‘Cartridge Rescue Schools Fundraising Program’. Bring any used laser, photocopier, inkjet or fax cartridges to school and place them in one of the collection boxes (located in the office and the Library). When the collection boxes are full, Cartridge Rescue arranges collection and the P&C receives between $0.50 and $1.00 for each cartridge.
Parents can also participate directly from your offices. If you wish to have a collection box sent to your workplace, please email us.

WE NEED YOUR HELP ! Grant Writer
Apart from fundraising, Grants are an important source of funds for the P&C and school, helping us improve facilities for our children.
Applying for grants from the government and private organisations is a time consuming role, and we're looking for someone to help us with the writing of the Grants.
If you have experience in Grant writing or are prepared to give it a go please contact us to find out how you can help.
